  • TAFE NSW will be delivering IPROWD on semester 1 2024 at Mt Druitt. IPROWD is the “Indigenous Police Recruiting Our Way Delivery Program”, for Aboriginal people preparing for careers with NSW Police and Australian Federal Police. The course is delivered at several locations around NSW, and is coordinated state wide by the IPROWD coordination group at Dubbo. NSW Police and Australian Federal Police have committed significant resources to the program.

The course is a fantastic opportunity for Aboriginal students, and they receive training from serving NSW Police and AFP officers, in conjunction with the TAFE trainers. Students are issued with IPROWD branded clothing, and they also visit the NSW Police Academy at Goulburn and the Australian Federal Police College in Barton, ACT.

The IPROWD coordinators at Dubbo are promoting the course to the Aboriginal organisations that they know in Western Sydney, including Kimberwalli and Kari. If you know of any other Aboriginal organisations could I ask you to please also promote the course to them?
